Santa brought this toy for my son's first Christmas when he was 8 months old. He was a bit young for it then but he soon grew into it and, almost 4 years later, he still uses it regularly. Other than being covered in marine life stickers, it looks practically brand new and it's still a great way to get his "zoomies" out in the evenings. 

There are about 5000 versions of this toy available - why do I like this one? Well, for starters, the rings all have slightly different textures which is a great thing for little hands to explore. Likewise, the rings aren't all perfect circles which adds more visual and tactile interest. The orange piece at the top is a rattle, AND it locks into place to make it easy to transport.

These blocks are soft and squishy but easily stackable for little hands. See those little raised edges? They're perfect for teething toddlers. The best part? The giggles you can get when you squeeze the blocks and puffs of air come out! 

This is such a great multipurpose toy. First off, the xylophone slides out so it can be used on its own or as part of the full toy. Secondly, there are rubber rings that hold the balls in place until they're tapped in, BUT they're easily removed so the ball can fall through onto the xylophone without needing to be hit (incase your kiddo isn't quite there yet). The balls roll out the end so your crawling babe can chase after them, OR you can put something like a piece of a wooden rainbow to catch the balls so they don't roll away. So many ways to play!! And bonus - of all the toy xylophones out there, this one sounds the best!

For some unknown reason, I'm constantly looking for the best possible bath toy. I haven't found it yet, but these are pretty fun and they can be used in a ton of ways in the bath, sensory bin or pool. I've done colour matching with pompoms (pompoms + bath time = so much fun!), counting, stacking, connecting... the list goes on!
